On our Bookshelf

Therese Estacion’s Jelly, Baby is a deeply personal exploration of disability, ableism, and the struggle to accept and love oneself. Through an intimate relationship with her body, Estacion examines how ableism has shaped her identity and self-perception, while confronting the grief and internalized shame that accompany disability. Drawing on her psychotherapy training, the collection becomes a tender meditation on vulnerability, self-acceptance, and transformation.
