Overview
This tutorial will outline how to prepare an external storage device, such as an SD card or USB flash drive, for configuring all internet-capable players from Humanware for use with CELA’s Direct to Player service. These are: Stratus4 M, 12 M, 2, Victor Stream 2nd and 3rd generation.
This process requires storing configuration files on an external storage device. These configurations will then be imported on the player, allowing it to connect to your Wi-Fi network and to your CELA account. In the case of the Stratus4 M, our Contact Centre can also configure an SD card for you and send it by mail.
All Humanware players, excepting the Stratus4 M, can also be configured directly on the player, without using an external storage device. Consult the device specific documentation or reach out to CELA’s Contact Centre for more information.
This process involves using a Windows-based computer program called Humanware Companion. If you use a Mac computer or cannot use Humanware Companion for any other reason, please get in touch with us to find out about other options for configuring your device. Our Tech Support team may be able to provide the configuration files in an email, and you can copy them to an SD card.
