Setting up Direct to Play on the Victor Stream 3
Method 1: Configuration directly on your player
Entering text such as passwords on the Victor Stream 3
To perform the configuration on your device, you need to know how to enter text such as passwords using the number keys. This is called Multi-tap text entry.
There are two Multi-tap text entry methods: "Announce final character only" and “Announce character on each key press, then enter character after pause”. You can toggle between these by pressing and holding the bookmark key, located on the top right corner of the player.
Each button is listed with its letter or symbols in order of their appearance. If you press and hold the 0 key, you will enter the key describer mode. You can then press any key on the numeric keypad and all the letters and symbols associated with that key will be spoken. Press and hold the 0 key again to exit the key describer mode and resume editing.
When entering your password, you may toggle between lowercase, uppercase, and numeric only with the Bookmark key. Please note that the possibility to switch from lowercase to uppercase is only present in text fields that are case sensitive, such as your Wi-Fi password. Use the fast forward button to review the text you entered. If you make a mistake, you can delete characters using the rewind key.
Additional instructions on the multi-tap entry methods are on the Humanware Victor Stream 3 Training and Troubleshooting page
