Five Costa Rican fishermen embarked on a routine fishing trip, but a freak storm ravaged their ship and they drifted in the Pacific for 142 days. They survived ferocious squalls, shark attacks, terrible thirst and a curious whale. The men finally were rescued near Honolulu, 4500 miles from home. 1989.
