During the Second World War Hugh Lomax was sent to the Greek island of Kyros to destroy a Nazi stronghold. He was captured but managed to escape. He returns now to the island to learn of the horrific sequel to… that escape: his mission had been betrayed and innocent men and women executed. The people of Kyros still believe that he was that betrayer and they are determined that he shall pay the ultimate penalty. 1982.
