Summary
Arnold Isbister came across Samuel White Wolf in his research of Up-See-So Ai-See-Neh-Suk—the word for Little People in his Cree language. Throughout his childhood he had a few experiences with the Little People, and he felt he needed to know… more about them. Their existence is a myth—a legend—to many Indigenous people across North America, and in fact, similar stories about them are found worldwide. In Samuel & the Little People, young readers can get to know the Up-see-So Ai-See-Neh-Suk through Samuel's journal, transcribed from Cree syllabics to English
