Summary
A Good Life follows the lives of the Fillion brothers, from their start in a close-knit community on the east side of Montreal through the opportunities of the fifties and the changes that transformed Quebec in the sixties and seventies.… When their father loses his factory job because of the stock market crash of 1929, the brothers set out to earn money for the family by selling the scrap they scavenge from the docks. A brief gang war with the Irish Catholics of the district destroys this venture and the brothers turn to making and selling furniture and build a successful business. 2001.
