Summary
Barbara and Elliot Rifkin are middle-class boomers who have taken early retirement, have split their home into two apartments, and intend to live independently of family and emotional commitments. Their children and friends are appalled, but the Rifkins are determined… to enjoy their freedom. But when the cost of that freedom comes too high, an unusual series of events cause an interesting compromise to occur. Some strong language and descriptions of sex. 1999.
