Summary
Fifty-two year-old Kate is about to face her second winter since the untimely death of her husband. Her children are all grown up and have moved away, leaving her alone in her New Brunswick home. When Kate's sister gives her… a collection of hatboxes containing letters from her grandparents' home, she begins to dream of her childhood.
