ceremony called &“The Crown of Isis&” • Provides profound guided meditations for each of the nine stages and illustrates the manifestation of this path&’s principles through stories of awakening • Shares the author&’s personal journey as a Garment of Isis and her own powerful interactions with Isis, which culminated in her serving as Oracle of Isis at the Parliament of World Religions in Chicago in 1993 The Sacred Science of ancient Egypt was an initiatory spiritual system, a technology of consciousness designed to birth a mystical communion with the divinities, an embodied union of being between the eternal and the mortal. After initiation was completed, the re-identified being, now divinely possessed, was known as a &“Garment of Isis,&” signifying that the goddess Isis dwelt within them. As Naomi Ozaniec reveals, it is still possible to enter into these ancient Mysteries, to encounter the living mysticism of Khemetic Sacred Science and become a vessel for the divine. Offering a practical guide to the key principles within the Egyptian temple tradition, she explores the process of creating and developing a personal relationship with the neteru, the divinities and living forces of creation of ancient Egypt. She details the nine stages of this initiatory path, which are divided into three phases--Heartmind, Spiritmind, and Soulmind. This step-by-step, interactive process culminates in a ceremony called &“The Crown of Isis.&” For each of the nine stages, the author provides profound guided meditations and illustrates the manifestation of the initiate&’s powers through stories of awakening brought on by this spiritual path. She also shares her personal journey as a Garment of Isis and her own powerful interactions with Isis, which culminated in the author holding the office of Oracle of Isis at the Parliament of World Religions in Chicago in 1993. Offering an accessible yet substantive guide to initiation into the Egyptian mysteries, this book details how to gradually awaken and attune your mind to the symbolic, open access to higher realms of consciousness, and enter into a mystical marriage between personal and divine consciousness. The Practitioner's Guide to the Science of Psychotherapy

By H. Charles Fishman. 2022
In this groundbreaking book, Charles Fishman uniquely incorporates and develops results-based accountability (RBA) into the framework of structural family therapy.…
Collaborating with the founder of RBA, Mark Friedman, this approach aims to transform the field of family therapy by allowing clinicians to track performance effectively and efficiently with their clients. The book begins by reviewing the historical foundations of family therapy and evaluates why challenges in the field, alternative methods, and the reliance on evidence-based medicine (EBM) have meant that family therapy may not have flourished to the extent that many of us expected. It then explores how RBA can be integrated into intensive structural therapy (IST), with chapters examining how RBA can be applied in context, such as in treating eating disorders, supervision, and how it can be used to transform the professional’s clinical contexts. Relevant and practical, the book also introduces the community resource specialist to help in the treatment of socially disadvantaged families, as well as practical appendices and "tracking tools" to empower clinicians to track their data and choose treatment models that obtain best outcomes. This new approach offers transparent and measurable outcomes for both clinicians and training family therapists, lending a helping hand in making family therapy the gold standard in psychotherapy. It is essential reading for undergraduate and graduate students of family therapy, course leaders, and all clinicians in professional contexts, such as social workers, psychotherapists, and marriage, couple, and family therapists. These essays by the famous analytical psychologist and student of creativity Erich Neumann belong in the context of the depth…
psychology of culture and reveal a prescient concern about the one-sidedness of patriarchal Western civilization. Neumann recommended a "cultural therapy" that he thought would redress a "fundamental ignorance" about feminine and masculine psychology, and he looked for societal healing to a "matriarchal consciousness" that forms the bridge between the feminine and the creative. Brought together here for the first time, the essays in the book discuss the psychological stages of woman's development, the moon and matriarchal consciousness, Mozart's Magic Flute, the meaning of the earth archetype for modern times, and the fear of the feminine. In Mozart's fantastic world, Neumann saw a true Auseinandersetzung--the conflict and coming-to-terms with each other of the matriarchal and the patriarchal worlds. Developing such a synthesis of the feminine and the masculine in the psychic reality of the individual and of the collective was, he argued, one of the fundamental, future-oriented tasks of both the society and the individual.Das vorliegende Buch beschäftigt sich mit dem OASE-Gesundheitsmodell welches Wellness und Gesundheit mit psychosozialer Beratung kombiniert und im Bereich Mental…

narratives, continues in the trajectory of the first, promising to shape and provide guidance to both current and next generation of art therapists in the studio-based approach to working with a challenging and often maligned population. It continues to offer much in the way of guidance, motivation, and practical advice around the use of art making as the central curative component when developing therapeutic relationships with hurt and troubled teens. The second primary focus is devoted to the art as therapy approach to art psychotherapy, with several chapters examining components of this model. The final focus presents the author’s therapeutic approach to working with adolescents through responsive art making. A positive by-product of the book is that the reader will find many practical suggestions regarding materials, artistic tasks, and therapeutic techniques. In addition, the text is greatly enhanced by the powerful illustrations that highlight the chapters’ case narratives. This new edition continues to share the author’s essential philosophical, technical, pragmatic, and ethical aspects of practicing art therapy that have made him a standard-bearer for those who believe in the therapeutic power of art. By Deborah Lynn Porter. 2022
This unique book brings a fresh interdisciplinary approach to the analysis of ancient Chinese history, creating a historical model for…
the emergence of cultural mainstays by applying recent dramatic findings in the fields of neuroscience and cultural evolution. The centrality in Chinese culture of a deep reverence for the lives of preceding generations, filial piety, is conventionally attributed to Confucius (551-479 B.C.), who viewed hierarchical family relations as foundational for social order. Here, Porter argues that Confucian conceptions of filiality themselves evolved from a systemized set of behaviors and thoughts, a mental structure, which descended from a specific Neolithic mindset, and that this psychological structure was contoured by particular emotional conditions experienced by China’s earliest farmers. Using case study analysis from Neolithic sky observers to the dynastic cultures of the Shang and Western Zhou, the book shows how filial piety evolved as a structure of feeling, a legacy of a cultural predisposition toward particular moods and emotions that were inherited from the ancestral past. Porter also brings new urgency to the topic of ecological grief, linking the distress central to the evolution of the filial structure to its catalyst in an environmental crisis. With a blended multidisciplinary approach combining social neuroscience, cultural evolution, cognitive archaeology, and historical analysis, this book is ideal for students and researchers in neuropsychology, religion, and Chinese culture and history.Trauma-Informed Forensic Practice
