Sous les vagues (Carré blanc)
By Meritxell Martí. 2021
By Jaime Gamboa. 2020

By Ged Adamson. 2015
Captain Stan and Tiny McKaw are rough-and-tumble pirates. Whether it's searching for treasure or battling on the high seas, this…
adventurous duo is up for anything. But then Tiny's parents come to visit. Suddenly, the big pirate ship starts to feel very small. Mrs. McKaw is always nagging-even in her sleep! Mr. McKaw insists on telling endless stories. And they both make the cook cry when they insult his food! After they stick Tiny in a very un-pirate-like suit and tie, Captain Stan has had enough. "Get off my ship!" he orders. Only moments later, though, a massive storm envelops the boat. Will the McKaws forgive Stan's outburst and help to save the ship and crew? From writer/illustrator Ged Adamson (Elsie Clarke and the Vampire Hairdresser) comes this hilarious story of family and forgiveness. Adamson's familiar humor makes Meet the McKaws a riot for everyone who has ever dealt with the trials of family. Accompanied by playful illustrations and bursting with color, this story is a reminder that while no family is perfect, a family's love is irreplaceable.Island of Thieves

Mr. Book With No Story wants his pages uncluttered by pictures and plot lines, but images, questions, and ideas keep…
invading the unruly pages he is trying to police, ignoring his efforts to chase them away. Mr. Book is determined to share nothing with readers, but his pages have other ideas. It turns out that Mr. Book’s big fear is having nothing worthwhile to say, but in this fun, zany tribute to the creative process, he needn’t have worried. The bumbling blowhard of the first page inspires empathy and affection by the time the last page chimes in. The messages are simple: Stories are fun, and all of us can tell them. The Mutineers: A Tale Of Old Days At Sea And Of Adventures In The Far East (large Print Edition)
By Charles Boardman Hawes. 2020
From the Newbery Medal Winning Author Of The Dark Frigate, The Mutineers is a tale of old days at Sea…
and of Adventures in the Far East. Strange events happened in our first month at sea—events so subtle as perhaps to seem an unimportant part of this narrative of a strange voyage, yet really as necessary to the foundation of the story as the single bricks and the single dabs of mortar at the base of a tall chimney are necessary to the completed structure. I later had cause to remember each trivial incident as if it had been written in letters of fire. Adventure on the High Seas. The Great Cheese Robbery: Book 1 (Pocket Pirates #1)
