einen entwickelt, das Selbstverantwortungs-Inventar (SVI).[1] Das SVI besteht aus den drei Unterskalen Fremdbestimmung, Selbstbestimmung sowie Orientierung an den Erwartungen anderer. Fremdbestimmung ist der Eindruck einer Person, dass andere Menschen mehr Einfluss auf ihr eigenes Leben haben als sie selbst (Beispiel: „Andere sind an meinem Unglück schuld“. Selbstbestimmung ist eine unabhängige und selbstbewusste Haltung („Ich bestimme selbst, was ich tue oder lasse“). Orientierung an den Erwartungen anderer ist der Wunsch, die Erwartungen anderer Menschen zu erfüllen, und die Angst, Fehler zu machen oder zurechtgewiesen zu werden („Ich habe oft ein schlechtes Gewissen, wenn ich jemandem eine Bitte abschlage“). Ich habe das SVI bei mehreren wissenschaftlichen Untersuchungen an gesunden Erwachsenen eingesetzt; dabei zeigten sich ziemlich genau die Zusammenhänge, die ich weiter oben beschrieben habe. Je ausgeprägter die Selbstverantwortung – das heißt, je weniger Fremdbestimmung, je mehr Selbstbestimmung und je weniger Orientierung an den Erwartungen anderer –, desto größer die Zufriedenheit in praktisch allen Bereichen des eigenen Lebens (z.B. Ehe bzw. Partnerschaft, eigene Person, Gesundheit, Sexualität). Obwohl es sich hier um Menschen ohne psychische Störungen handelt, wurde auch nach Depressivität und Ängstlichkeit gefragt, mit dem gleichen Ergebnis: Je ausgeprägter die Selbstverantwortung, desto geringer Depressivität und Ängstlichkeit. Ko-Konstruktion von Paaren und Dingen offenbart. Forschungsgegenstand ist das Zusammenziehen und Zusammenwohnen von Paaren in der ersten gemeinsamen Wohnung, wobei besonders die Materialität der Wohnung sowie der individuellen und gemeinsamen Dinge von Interesse ist. Forschungsleitend waren drei Fragestellungen: Wie wird die Wohnung für das Paar zum Zuhause und was impliziert dieser Begriff? Was bedeutet Wohnen als Paar? Und wie wird die Wohnung als gemeinsamer und individueller Raum verhandelt? Zur Beantwortung dieser Fragen wurden Paarinterviews und Walking Interviews mit zehn Paaren in ihrer Wohnung durchgeführt, bei denen die Paare selbst Fotos erstellten. Das Material wurde mit der dokumentarischen Methode ausgewertet und vier sinngenetische Typen von Ko-Konstruktionen rekonstruiert. Die Typen umspannen Dimensionen der Deutung des Zusammenziehens und Zusammenlebens, der Zeitlichkeit und Prozessualität, des Verhältnisses von Gemeinsamkeit und Individualität sowie die Bedeutungen der "schönen" Dinge. Die Ergebnisse werden paar-, wohn- und wissenssoziologisch sowie methodisch diskutiert und die Relevanz der fortwährenden soziologischen Auseinandersetzung mit dem Forschungsgegenstand verdeutlicht.

e-business. This book explores the application of BCT in e-business focusing on the value creation. The research objective is to examine how and why BCT is used in e-business value chains. This objective is reached through a pragmatic multimethod approach combining four studies. Study 1 summarises the state-of-the-art of approaches to assess a BCT fit for a particular scenario and outlines shortcomings resulting from these approaches. Study 2 provides empirical insights into the usage of BCT in four e-business value chains based on the cases Theta (content), OpenBazaar (commerce), Presearch (context), and Crypviser (connection). Study 3 deepens the insights in the e-commerce value chain. By means of a qualitative content analysis of news articles, various BCT application domains for each e-commerce activity are presented. Study 4 narrows the perspective of analysis to e-negotiations, proposes a BC-based negotiation support system and examines its opportunities and challenges. Finally, an integrative discussion of the findings results in two explanations how BCT is applied in e-business.

Though rural transport has largely been neglected in the literature in favor of more urbanized contexts, it is often the only mobility option for the many citizens who still live in these areas. This book aims to fill the gap in the literature by providing further insights into rural transport research, in particular by presenting a valid solution: Demand Responsive Transport (DRT). This widespread technology allows public transport authorities to make their journeys more efficient by maximizing the load factor of vehicles, while helping citizens meet their mobility needs. The book addresses key research questions concerning the strengths and weaknesses of deploying Demand-Responsive Transport (DRT) in rural areas; mayors&’ perceptions regarding the transport characteristics of their regions; and the evaluation of a DRT pilot project. These aspects are explored through a case study of DRT implementation in two rural areas near the Ligurian cities of Chiavari and Genoa.
