Les faits, légendes et personnages marquants de l'histoire québécoise, à partir de la découverte du pays au XVIe siècle jusqu'aux lendemains du référendum de 1995, tout s'y trouve relaté en vers et contre tout. Les clés de plus de 500 noms codés sont livrées à la fin du livre, mais, pour tester ses connaissances en histoire ou son habileté à décoder le texte, on peut essayer de ne les regarder qu'en dernier lieu, quand on a donné sa langue au chat. Et on peut s'amuser ensuite à faire passer le test à ses proches. C'est un jeu instructif pour les jeunes de 6 à 106 ans.
