Het richt zich op hulpverleners en onderzoekers in de geestelijke gezondheidszorg, artsen, verpleegkundigen en opvoedkundigen. DC:0-5, Diagnostische classificatie van psychische en ontwikkelingsstoornissen in de baby- en vroege kindertijd is een vertaling van de grondig gereviseerde versie van de eerdere DC:0-3 (1994) en DC:0-3R (2005), het eerste en enige ontwikkelingsgerichte systeem voor diagnostiek van psychische en ontwikkelingsstoornissen bij kinderen tot en met vijf jaar oud. Er zijn verschillende redenen waarom een specifiek classificatiesysteem voor de baby en vroege kindertijd nodig is. Ten eerste, zijn de DSM-5 criteria niet zonder meer toepasbaar tot en met de leeftijd van vijf jaar; ten tweede, is het perspectief van de vroege ontwikkeling en die van de context waarin het kind opgroeit leidend in de DC:0- 5. Dit perspectief komt onvoldoende naar voren in de DSM-5. De DC:0-5 legt tenslotte grote nadruk op culturele diversiteit en de relevantie ervan voor de diagnostiek en behandeling. De DC:0-5 is een op zichzelf staand classificatiesysteem, maar slaat tevens de brug naar de DSM-5 en ICD-10. Nieuw aan deze editie: Leeftijd is opgerekt naar vijf jaar;De criteria zijn aangepast zodat ze beter van toepassing zijn op nog jongere en iets oudere kinderen; De relevantie van verschillen in culturele normen en waarden in de beoordeling wordt sterk benadrukt en hiervoor zijn praktische richtlijnen opgesteld. Ook is een aantal nieuwe stoornissen toegevoegd zoals: Vroege atypische autisme spectrum stoornis; Hyperactiviteit van de peuterleeftijd; Stoornissen in zintuigelijke verwerking; Stoornis van ontregelde woede en agressie van de vroege kindertijd, als vervanging voor de bekende oppositionele-opstandige stoornis (ODD). Diagnostic Classification of Mental Health and Developmental Disorders of Infancy and Early Childhood is oorspronkelijk uitgegeven door ZERO TO THREE: National Center for Infants, Toddlers and Families (2016). Buurtzorg is Nederlands meest succesvolle &‘zorgexportproduct&’. De grootste organisatie voor wijkverpleging in Nederland krijgt navolging in ruim dertig landen. Bij de internationale business-scholen INSEAD en Harvard staat de casus Buurtzorg op het programma. Jos de Blok reist de wereld af als keynote op symposia, dineert met ministers, gaat mee met de Koning en Koningin op handelsmissies naar Azië en helpt landen als Denemarken, Engeland en Frankrijk met zorgprogramma&’s. Hij ontvangt prestigieuze internationale onderscheidingen en prijzen, zoals de Albert Medal, de Peter Drucker Award, de Thinkers50 en sociale vernieuwer van het World Economic Forum in Davos. Buiten de zorg in Nederland laten overheidsdiensten, politie, banken en verzekeraars zich inspireren door de zelfsturing van Buurtzorg. Ego&’s, posities en patronen van denken vormen in Nederland obstakels. Desondanks ontketent Buurtzorg een revolutie in de wijkverpleging. De exponentiële groei van Buurtzorg de eerste tien jaar is revolutionair. Duizenden wijkverpleegkundigen zeggen hun baan op bij een werkgever waar ze al tien, twintig of dertig jaar aan verbonden zijn en stappen over naar een compleet nieuwe werkomgeving. Een derde van alle wijkverpleegkundigen werkt bij Buurtzorg. In navolging van Buurtzorg herstellen andere zorgaanbieders de autonomie, zeggenschap en positie van de wijkverpleegkundigen. Deze revolutie bereidt de weg nodig voor het laatste hoofdstuk: de transformatie naar &‘De buurt als ecosysteem&’. Dit boek is het resultaat van circa dertig gesprekken van Jos de Blok en Bart Kiers, die als journalist bij de vaktitels Zorgvisie en Skipr de opkomst van Buurtzorg van nabij heeft gevolgd. Dit is het verhaal over de revolutie van Buurtzorg in de woorden van Jos de Blok.

Chapter 3 explains what organisations are, the types of organisations (civil society, corporations, education, public sector, and hybrid), the levels and system elements (individuals, groups, organisation, and system), attitudes (informational, emotional, and behavioural), the stakeholders that affect and are affected by the organisation, and the interactions between organisations (from competition to collaboration). Chapter 4 focuses on how organisations have been addressing sustainability, divided into 1) efforts to contribute to sustainability (i.e. focussing outside the organisation), and 2) engagement efforts (i.e. those focussing inside the organisation, e.g. through the use of tools, initiatives, and approaches for sustainability, and collaboration). Chapter 5 discusses change, types of change (internal vs. external, proactive vs. reactive, etc.), change strategies, change frameworks, and change for sustainability in organisations.
