A practical guide to the magic of the feminine side of the Norse pantheon • Provides invocations and rituals to…
call each goddess forth for personal and group spirit work • Details the author’s trancework to discover the personalities and powers of Frigg the Allmother, wife of Odin, and the 12 lesser-known Aesir goddesses associated with her • Offers a comprehensive guide to tranceworking to connect with the deities Combining traditional research on folklore and the Eddas with trancework and meditation techniques, Alice Karlsdóttir was able to rediscover the feminine side of the Norse pantheon and assemble working knowledge of 13 Norse goddesses for both group ritual and personal spirit work. Detailing her trancework journeys to connect with the goddesses, the author reveals the long-lost personalities and powers of each deity. She explores the Norse goddess Frigg the Allmother, wife of Odin, along with the 12 Asynjur, or Aesir goddesses, associated with her, such as Sjofn the peacemaker, Eir the Healer, and Vor the Wisewoman. She shares their appearances in the Eddas and Germanic mythology and explains the meanings of their names, their relationships to each other, and their connections to the roles of women in Old Norse society. She provides detailed instructions for invocations and rituals to call each goddess forth for personal and group spirit work. She also offers a comprehensive guide to ritual tranceworking to allow anyone to directly experience deities and spiritual beings and develop spirit-work relationships with them.By Christian Fl che. 2000
A practical guide to the correspondence between emotion, organ systems, and disease • Identifies what emotional shocks will engender illnesses…
specific to a certain part of the body • Shows how illness is an ally that enables individuals to restore balance to their health Biogenealogy is a comprehensive new vision of health that takes the mind-body connection one step further by identifying and consciously addressing the emotional shocks that create physical disorders. Each symptom of an illness precisely indicates its emotional origin. Thus, far from being an enemy, the physical symptom is actually a valuable ally that provides the key to the cure of the physical disease as well as resolution of the emotional imbalance that created it. Christian Flèche, the leading researcher and practitioner in the field of biogenealogy, explains that the “activation of illness” is the body’s reaction to unresolved events that are frozen in time. These unresolved traumas affect the body on the cellular level and manifest in minor as well as more serious chronic conditions. In The Biogenealogy Sourcebook, Flèche systematically chronicles all the major organs of the body and specifies the types of emotional conflicts that lead to illness in those areas. For example, he explains that conflicts of separation are evidenced in diseases of the skin; a reduction of self-worth or deep anguish will manifest in the lymph nodes. He also shows that unresolved emotional issues can also be passed down to future generations if left untreated. Intended for therapists, researchers, and any person who wants to take his or her health in hand, this book is an important guide to understanding and decoding the causes and not just the effects of illness.By Sri Shyamji Bhatnagar, David Isaacs. 2009
The first guide to working with microchakras, the channels within each of the 7 major chakras • Identifies 147 microchakras…
that affect our spiritual evolution and daily well-being • Introduces the new field of Microchakra Psychology and its practical component of InnerTuning, the use of precise sacred sounds that release energy blockages within the chakras Each of the traditional 7 chakras contains 21 microchakras, which enable the chakras to process information related to our thoughts, feelings, and behavior. When the energy flowing in the chakras is blocked, our physical, emotional, and psychological well-being is compromised. Through the unique practice of InnerTuning--a system of precise, potent sounds and mantras--blockages in the microchakras can be released so the subtle body can become realigned and physical and mental health can be restored. Sri Shyamji Bhatnagar developed the InnerTuning technique from his early work with breath and sacred sounds, which began at age 12 with his guru in India. In 1967 his discovery of the 147 microchakras inspired his creation of Microchakra Psychology, a blend of ancient wisdom and contemporary psychology that explains the workings of the subtle body and how openings or blockages in the chakras can either encourage or sabotage psychological health and spiritual development. In this book, Shyamji describes methods for optimizing energy flow in the microchakras using the practice of InnerTuning in order to enhance one’s well-being and promote spiritual growth through the power of sound, breath, and the divine energy that resides within us all.By Terry Tempest Williams, Nina Simons, Anneke Campbell. 2010
Explores the flourishing, passionate forms of leadership emerging from women on behalf of the earth and community • Contains more…
than 30 essays from successful women leaders, including writers Alice Walker and Eve Ensler, psychiatrist Jean Shinoda Bolen, holistic doctor Rachel Naomi Remen, hip-hop performer Rha Goddess, and famous tree-sitter Julia Butterfly Hill • From Bioneers president and cofounder Nina Simons Many today find themselves being called toward greater leadership on behalf of the Earth, toward leadership sourced from their inner authority and inspired by what they love and are dedicated to protect, transform, and strengthen. Those successfully heeding this call have embraced the qualities previously relegated to the “feminine”--inner awareness, collaboration, relational intelligence, respect for the sacred and generosity--and married them to the best of their “masculine” attributes to create a new form of leadership more inspiring, inviting, and effective for transforming how we live on Earth and with each other. This anthology presents more than 30 essays from eminent women trailblazers--such as author Alice Walker, psychiatrist Jean Shinoda Bolen, playwright Eve Ensler, holistic doctor Rachel Naomi Remen, biologist Janine Benyus, hip-hop performer Rha Goddess, and famous tree-sitter Julia Butterfly Hill--as well as lesser-known but equally influential leaders--such as social entrepreneur Judy Wicks, philanthropic activist Kathy LeMay, food justice advocate LaDonna Redmond, and media educator Sofia Quintero. Their narratives explore how they cultivated their leadership impulses and their “feminine” strengths, reinventing leadership to prioritize community, collaboration, the environment, and the common good. Illuminating a path to progressive environmental and social change, their passionate stories of joyful, creative, collaborative, and sacred leadership ignite within each reader the power to help cocreate a healthy, peaceful, just, and sustainable world.By Christian De Quincey. 2010
An exploration of consciousness in all matter--from quantum to cosmos • Outlines theories of consciousness in ancient and modern philosophy…
from before Plato to Alfred North Whitehead • Reveals the importance of understanding mind-in-matter for our relationships with the environment, with other people, even with ourselves Are rocks conscious? Do animals or plants have souls? Can trees feel pleasure or pain? Where in the great unfolding of life did consciousness first appear? How we answer such questions can dramatically affect the way we live our lives, how we treat the world of nature, and even how we relate to our own bodies. In this new edition of the award-winning Radical Nature, Christian de Quincey explores the “hard problem” of philosophy--how mind and matter are related--and proposes a radical and surprising answer: that matter itself tingles with consciousness at the deepest level. It’s there in the cells of every living creature, even in molecules and atoms. Tracing the lineage of this idea through Western philosophy and science, he shows that it has a very noble history--from before Plato to Alfred North Whitehead. He reveals that the way to God is through nature and that understanding how body and soul fit together has surprising consequences for our relationships with our environment, with other people, and even with ourselves.By John Perkins, Susan Wright. 2000
By Ervin Laszlo, Marcus Anthony. 2012
How to create the life you want in alignment with your soul’s purpose • Reveal your soul aptitudes, limiting behaviors,…
and past-life karmic issues • Discover 14 easy-to-use spiritual tools to strengthen your intuition to profound levels and develop an inner source of guidance and wisdom for any situation • Learn why the Law of Attraction doesn’t work for most people and how to make it work for you Like an enlightened spiritual teacher, you, too, can tap in to the infinite wisdom of the cosmos to create a life of deep meaning and purpose. The key is integrated intelligence--your innate capacity, often experienced as “intuition,” to instantly draw upon knowledge beyond the confines of the five senses, from past, present, and future. Integrated intelligence enables not only a connection to the wisdom of the universe but also access to your soul template, revealing your self-limiting behaviors, karmic issues from past lives, and soul aptitudes--the abilities at which you excel. With knowledge of your soul template, you can successfully create the life you were meant to live in alignment with your soul’s purpose. Providing 14 easy-to-use spiritual tools to activate your integrated intelligence, Marcus Anthony shows you how to tap in to the wisdom of your soul template, distinguish the voice of ego from the voice of your inner sage, and strengthen your intuition to profound levels, thereby developing a trusted inner source of guidance. Explaining how the mind is not a shallow pond but an ocean of competing voices and energies, he reveals why the Law of Attraction doesn’t work for most people: any vision you attempt to manifest must be aligned with your soul template or the competing voices will act against it. Revealing how to bring the mind into presence to get “the secret” to work for you, Anthony shows how to use integrated intelligence to identify and live your true calling and create the life you want while fulfilling the deeper needs of your spirit.By Kingsley L Dennis, Ervin Laszlo. 2011
A call for a paradigm shift in human thinking in recognition of the interconnectedness of all things--a new mind for…
a new world • Explains how the instability of our current time is part of a larger cycle of human evolution that will soon turn toward renewal and regeneration • Reveals how to participate in the process of conscious evolution to maintain resilience during these transitional times • Examines new findings in quantum physics and quantum biology on the interconnectivity of all life and how to utilize this for conscious evolution For centuries, indigenous wisdom traditions have talked of an epochal shift on the horizon, of a spiritual renaissance for the earth and her living family. Now the timelines are converging and the potential for an energetic “upgrade” for humanity is here, but first we must survive and evolve through the current period of transition. Explaining that evolution is not a gradual process but more like a “shock to the system”--radical waves of transformation after a period of dormancy--author Kingsley Dennis reveals that we are currently undergoing an evolutionary leap and shows not only how to survive but also thrive in this period of global upheaval and change. Examining the nature of evolutionary cycles, he explains that the instability we are now experiencing--climate change, economic meltdowns, and increasing political polarization--is the convergence of complex systems that have reached a critical state. What we need in order to push through to the coming spiritual renaissance is a paradigm shift in human thinking and perception, a conscious evolution in recognition of the interconnectedness of all things--a new mind for a new world. Examining new findings in quantum physics and quantum biology on the interconnectivity of all life as well as opportunities for us to reawaken our slumbering souls, this book offers a glimpse of the new global society to come, a renewed humanity for the 21st century, and how each of us can best participate during the process of planetary transformation.By Ervin Laszlo, Kingsley Dennis. 2011

A step-by-step guide to the rituals of Enochian magic for reaching the higher spiritual realms • Reveals missing practical instructions…
for the Enochian magic system received by John Dee and Edward Kelley • Explains that the angelic realm is only the first and farthest away of the spiritual realms surrounding God • Shows how to connect with the higher worlds beyond the angels to tap more fully in to the magical power of the Divine In this comprehensive introduction to Enochian magic and beyond, John DeSalvo explains how the magic system transmitted by the angels to John Dee and Edward Kelley in the 16th century has until now remained incomplete and thus not as powerful as the angels intended. Drawing on his in-depth study of John Dee’s diaries, DeSalvo explains how Dee and Kelley were given the Enochian tables and calls but their communications with the angels were severed before they received the full practical instructions for Enochian magic. To this day, most magical groups improvise and make up rituals based on their own ideas and imagination--the magic they practice is not true angelic magic. After many successful Enochian magic rituals and years of his own spiritual work, DeSalvo has discovered additional key pieces to the magical system of Dee and Kelley, a system now known as Power Magic. He provides step-by-step instructions for more complete and accurate Enochian magic rituals and reveals how the angelic realm is only the first and farthest away of the spiritual realms surrounding God. He explains how to penetrate this angelic realm with Power Magic to reach higher spiritual worlds and receive more powerful knowledge and energy. He shows that by connecting with the higher worlds beyond the angels, we can tap more fully in to the magical power of the Divine and begin restoring the planetary magic of our most ancient ancestors.By Laurel Ann Reinhardt, James Jealous. 2002
A workbook for recognizing, releasing, and transforming fear in one's self and in our health care system. • Over 60…
exercises for recognizing, releasing, and transforming fear to promote healing. • Includes case studies, transcribed dreamwork, and the author's personal story of healing. When Laurel Ann Reinhardt discovered a lump in her breast she witnessed firsthand how fear holds silent reign over the patient in the Western health care system and hinders the process of healing. This fear is systematically perpetuated by doctors and insurance agents, and it has become the cultural norm--undermining the foundation of all healing and the important work these providers are meant to perform. Drawing on the work of Rupert Sheldrake, Ken Wilbur, and Carl Jung, as well as her 20-plus years of experience as a clinical psychologist, Laurel Ann Reinhardt provides a thoughtful discussion about the existence, creation, and impact of this morphogenetic "field of fear" in the health care system. She provides us with the tools we need to recognize and release this fear and its harmful role in the healing process. From exercises for "expelling the breath of fear" and "talking back to fear" to "being heard and seen by physicians" and "dealing with the fears of our health care providers," Healing without Fear utilizes visualizations, journaling, chakra meditations, and dreamwork to teach both health care professionals and laypersons how to transform fear and allow true healing to begin.By Judy Graham. 2010

MS • Provides guidance on special diets and nutritional supplements, exercise, alternative therapies, and the effects of negative and positive thoughts on MS • Explains how to reduce toxic overload from mercury and chemicals • Includes life wisdom and coping strategies from others who suffer with MS Judy Graham is an inspiration. Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis when she was just 26 years old, 35 years later Judy Graham is still walking, working, and has successfully birthed and raised a son who is now an adult. In this totally revised and updated edition of her groundbreaking Multiple Sclerosis, first published in 1984, she shares the natural treatments that have helped her and many others with MS stabilize or even reverse the condition. Beginning with the effects of diet, she explains that many people with MS have been eating the wrong foods and shows which foods are “good” and “bad,” how to recognize food sensitivities, and how to correct nutritional deficiencies using dietary supplements. She also looks at reducing the body’s toxic overload, whether from mercury amalgam fillings, chemicals, or medications. She presents the exercises with proven benefits for MS she has found most reliable and appropriate, such as yoga, pilates, and t’ai chi, and explores alternative therapies that provide relief and support to the body’s efforts to control MS, including acupuncture, reflexology, shiatsu, reiki, and ayurveda. Most important are the insights she provides on the effects of negative thoughts on MS. She demonstrates how a positive mental attitude can actually slow down or even reverse the progression of this disease. Judy Graham is living proof that, as devastating as a diagnosis of MS is, life can still be lived to its fullest.By Christian De Quincey. 2005
A radical reassessment of what we mean by "consciousness" and how we experience it in relation to others • Shows…
the importance of integrating different ways of knowing--such as feeling and intuition, reason and the senses--in our approach to life • Discusses the technique of Bohmian Dialogue where you can learn not only to "feel your thinking," but also to experience true communion with others In Radical Knowing Christian de Quincey makes a provocative claim: We are not who we think we are. Instead, we are what we feel. Giving disciplined attention to feelings reveals the most fundamental fact of life and reality: We are our relationships. Most of us think we are individuals first and foremost who then come together to form relationships. De Quincey turns this "obvious fact" on its head and shows that relationship comes first, and that our individual sense of self--our "private" consciousness--actually arises from shared consciousness. This shared, collective consciousness is at the heart of indigenous ways of life and their worldviews. De Quincey explains that participating in shared consciousness literally builds the fabric of reality, and that understanding this process is key to unlocking our potential for higher consciousness and spiritual evolution. He presents the technique of Bohmian Dialogue, developed by groundbreaking quantum physicist David Bohm, as one method for experiencing this powerful process. He also explores the mystery of synchronicity, offering a new understanding of the relationship between matter and mind and the underlying nature of reality.By Stephen Harrod Buhner. 2010
The first comprehensive work on nonfiction as an art form • Shows how nonfiction, especially how-to and self-help, can take…
on the same power and luminosity as great fiction • Develops processes to reliably induce the dreaming state from which all writing comes • Teaches the skill of analogical thinking that is the core perceptual tool for writers • Explores the subtle techniques of powerful writing, from inducing associational dreaming in the reader, to language symmetry, sound patterning, foreshadowing, feeling flow, and more Approaching writing as a sacred art, Stephen Buhner explores the core of the craft: the communication of deep meaning that feeds not just the mind but also the soul of the reader. Tapping into the powerful archetypes within language, he shows how to enrich your writing by following “golden threads” of inspiration while understanding the crucial invisibles essential to the art of both fiction and nonfiction: how to craft language with feeling and vision, employ altered states of mind to access the writing trance, clear your work by recognizing the powerful sway of clichéd thinking and hidden baggage, and intentionally generate duende--that physical/emotional response to art that gives you chills, opens up unrecognized aspects of reality, or simply resonates in your soul. Covering some very practical aspects of writing such as layering and word symmetry, the author also explores the inner world of publishing--what you really will encounter when you become a writer. He then shows how to develop a powerful and engaging book proposal based on understanding the proposal as a work of fiction--the map is never the territory, nor is the proposal the book that it will become. This book, written using all the techniques discussed within it, offers a powerful, experiential journey into the heart of writing. It does for nonfiction what John Gardner’s books on writing did for fiction. It is one of the most significant works on writing published in our time.By Kate Warwick-Smith. 2003
A detailed interpretive guide to the 16 “face” cards of the tarot that reveals their core identities and special purpose…
in a person's life. * The first tarot book to focus exclusively on the court cards. * Shows how the “face” cards can clearly and accurately reveal the specific nature of the support-based relationships in one's life. * Includes tarot spreads and potent techniques for contacting these powerful archetypes through meditation and pathworking. The Tarot Court Cards gives fresh meaning to the 16 “face” cards of the tarot--the King, Queen, Knight, and Page. In contrast to the idiosyncratic and confusing interpretations that are presented in many tarot books, Kate Warwick-Smith shows how these cards embody archetypal patterns of relationship that offer greater enlightenment than ever before. Using the Kabbalah, she reveals the core identities of the Minor Arcana's court cards and their special purposes as supporters, detractors, inner resources, and challenges in our inner and outer life. She shows how the court cards can be used to identify your true tribe or clan--the specific people who support you in unique ways, such as your mentor, champion, protector, or healer. She also shows how the court cards can help you identify your inner resources and challenges--insight, discipline, passion, or greed--that enhance or hinder your efforts in the world. Using both new and traditional interpretations, the book also presents new tarot spreads and potent methods for contacting these powerful archetypes through meditation and pathworking. Both seasoned tarot readers and newcomers will find this book helps them achieve practical and insightful results.By Thom Hartmann. 2002
Thom Hartmann’s own dramatic spiritual journey that illuminates specific techniques for achieving spiritual transformation• Recounts travels to the farthest corners…
of the earth in pursuit of universal spiritual truths• Reveals the teachings of Hartmann’s spiritual guides, providing an intimate glimpse into his relationship with German mystic Herr Müller• Offers practices and techniques for readers seeking to grow spirituallyIn the course of his work for the charitable organization Salem, Thom Hartmann personally witnessed famine in Uganda, chaos in Russia, and genocide in Colombia--all signs that modern cultures have lost the connection to the sacred, both within and without, that was emblematic of older cultures. To truly flourish, the human spirit needs to be present in its surroundings and attuned to the Now. It needs to act on what it knows is possible and to experience how the smallest actions can have massive consequences. This is the reality of the Prophet’s Way, a path--both literal and figurative--that the author walked with his spiritual mentor Herr Müller that skirts the edge of the precipice, where one can experience a truly spontaneous life under seemingly overwhelming and impossible circumstances. In The Prophet’s Way, Thom Hartmann shares his intense spiritual journey, a story that melds recent discoveries in science with ancient truths. Through insightful and engaging vignettes Hartmann teaches that accepting the challenge to have faith means living on the edge--remaining in the moment--because it is here where the material and spiritual worlds meet. He offers readers a unique view into his experiences of expanded consciousness, providing a powerful example of how we can re-create our future by reconnecting to the sacred heartbeat of the world.By Marcus T Anthony, Ervin Laszlo. 2012

How to achieve a direct inner experience of your higher nature and the after-death state from which you originate and…
will return • Provides techniques for listening to the primordial sound within • Offers yoga and meditation techniques that are still little known in the West This book--at once simple and powerful--stands as a monument to the lifelong spiritual struggles of Edward Salim Michael, struggles that he heroically surmounted on his path to enlightenment. Due to the circumstances of his birth, Michael had no education, no mother tongue, and no book learning when he was drafted at the age of 19 into the British Royal Air Force during World War II. After learning to read and write he became an accomplished classical composer in France. In 1949, after seeing a statue of a Buddha for the first time, he experienced a powerful awakening of his innate Buddha Nature, which inspired him to begin a sustained and extremely disciplined meditation practice. Michael abandoned his career as a composer and went to India, the home of his maternal grandmother, where he lived for seven years fully focused on his spiritual awakening. Michael’s spiritual teachings reveal techniques of yoga and meditation that can open the door to one’s higher nature and to directly experience the after-death state. Nada yoga (meditation on the inner sound) is one of the core techniques for this realization. There is a vast luminous consciousness already within us, but it is obscured by the clouds of our incessant thoughts. With sincerity, moral integrity, and inner vigilance, which, when embodied, implies that we have internalized the basic tenets of the law of attention, we can move beyond the promptings of our lower nature and break through the clouds of our ordinary mind to realize our own divine nature. Emphasizing inner attention and an awareness of attitude, Michael’s practices can help aspirants make direct contact with the divine source each of us unknowingly carries deep within.By Peter Marchand. 2006

A guide to uncovering the enlightenment already within us • Builds on Buddhist, Hindu, and Taoist wisdom to express the…
timeless and ever-present nature of enlightenment • Reveals the negative impact of social and cultural conditioning on our psyche and how to counteract this through meditation and reframing our understanding of time • Shows how to uncover the original spontaneous awareness we were born with In this philosophical, psychological, and spiritual exploration of enlightenment, Jason Gregory addresses how to access the original spontaneous awareness we all came into this world with. He exposes the illusion that we must strive to reach enlightenment, uncovering how our yearning for future accomplishments, attachment to the past, and reliance on authority outside the self are social constructs that distract us from the reality of the now. The author explains how our original enlightened nature has been obscured by social, cultural, religious, and egotistical conditioning of the mind caught in time. Building on knowledge from spiritual traditions including Buddhism, Hinduism, and Taoism, Gregory expresses the timeless and ever-present nature of enlightenment. He illustrates how rigid practices and initiations can become a form of spiritual postponement, continually putting off our enlightenment because we feel we are doing something good and noble. To chase enlightenment through spiritual practice is to assume it is a quality bound to time. The author helps us see that we are already what we are seeking--once we understand that existing in this world is itself a miracle beyond words, then the magic and beauty of our world will unfold. In the same way we remember someone’s name without thinking about it, we also remember that we are enlightened when we stop searching for the experience. Emerging from the Middle Way of the Buddha, Lao-tzu’s Way of the Tao, Yoga, the Great Work of Gnosticism, the Hermetic Art of Alchemy, and quantum physics, Gregory presents a way to the state of consciousness--enlightenment, nirvana, or samadhi--in which eternity and time are one. He shows us how to counteract the negative impact of social and cultural conditioning on our psyche through meditation and reframing our understanding of time. The author explains how meditation in its truest form takes our awareness of nowness from theory to practice. Guiding us away from a time-bound understanding of enlightenment, Gregory shows us how to find ourselves in the stillness of now where the peace you are is the peace you give to the world.
